We require a carrier-validated phone number — bots and trolls take advantage of platforms which only require an e-mail address — but that’s not possible on Octopii.
We detect and ban suspicious accounts — and we have a very low tolerance for repeat offenders.
We display the city and state of every public post and comment so you have a better idea of who you’re talking with.
We allow you to delete other user’s comments on your posts — it’s your post — you deserve to control the conversation. If you suspect bots or bad actors are targeting your post, just send us a report and feel free to get started with the deletions yourself!
